Anyone who had a loved one remembered at this week’s Annual Bereavement Mass can request a candle from the Sacristy (St Mary of the Rosary) or the Parish Office.
Ceremonies of Reconciliation / Confession will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Rosary church, Nenagh:
Sunday Dec. 20th 2pm and 3.30pm
Christmas Eve 24th 1.30pm and 3pm
As we are restricted on the number allowed to congregate these ceremonies will be ticketed. Tickets are available from the Parish Office, Nenagh. Please phone 067 31272 during Office Hours of 10am to 2pm (Monday to Friday). Please be seated in the church 5 minutes before the ceremony commences. Tickets are in limited supply and disappearing fast.
During the summer, one of Nenagh’s great missionaries, Sister Kathleen Geaney, made a special appeal to the people of Nenagh to support her annual fundraiser in alternative ways. The pandemic made the usual street collections impossible this year. Nenagh responded with typical generosity. This weekend, Sister Kathleen writes to her supporters in Nenagh to update on her activities and thank them for their kindness. You can read that letter by clicking the button below.
This year, instead of collecting food parcels Nenagh Parish is asking that donations be in the form of Vouchers to the value of €5 or at most €10. Please do not donate vouchers to a value higher than this. These vouchers will be delivered to households in need of assistance this Christmas Season.
Our Annual Bereavement Mass for those in our community who have been bereaved in the last year, will be celebrated in St Mary of the Rosary Church on Monday 7 December at 7pm. Owing to Level 3 Restrictions, we are unable to accommodate all who plan to attend. Please note that this Mass will be celebrated without a congregation present in St Mary of the Rosary. Please join us via the Parish Radio (106.2FM) or the Parish Webcam.
As November draws to a close, we share with you the list of those whose Funeral Mass was celebrated in Nenagh Parish between November 2019 and October 2020. We pray God’s blessing on those who have departed and on those who mourn them.
